ERX3-TCD features an OLED display, locking headphone connector and a practically unbreakable rubber volume knob. The OLED display shows timecode, user bits, and current Scene and Take metadata in real time, with a hold button to freeze the display.
An adjustable delay can be set to suit monitors with different video delay due to video signal processing. Mounted on a camera, the ERX3TCD can provide accurate frame timecode without drift as it constantly receives and updates its timecode from the source. A 1kHz notch filter is also available to eliminate the tone transmission that is sometimes sent from the mixing console. The frequency of the notch filter is adjustable and its use will not affect the IFB sound quality.
