The Deity S-Mic 2 is a professional shotgun microphone offering excellent sound. Performance, high-quality circuitry, and fine workmanship make it a reliable audio recording tool. The Deity S-Mic 2 has a super-cardioid pickup pattern that minimizes ambient noise but still offers low off-axis coloration. The very low self-noise of the microphone allows you to capture natural-sounding speech and dialogue without any distortion. Designed to withstand the specifics of run-and-gun photography, the Deity S-Mic 2 is constructed from 100% solid brass and features a gold-plated epoxy-sealed PCB and moisture-proof capsule. The Deity S-Mic 2 comes with a waterproof, shockproof hard case to keep the microphone safe when stored or travelled. Also included is a microphone holder and a foam windscreen. The kit is equipped with a RycoteTM pistol grip mount to provide isolation from cable work. The kit includes a faux fur windshield.
