- Viviana Cloud is the online platform for audio data management in movies and TV, uploading your recordings straight to the cloud.
Viviana cloud is made of two parts:
a purpose-engineered box
a smartphone app (iOs and Android)
The Viviana Cloud box lets you upload files to your Dropbox account cloud service straight from a recorder or a card reader plugged into its USB-A 2.0 port. There are two USB ports available on the box:
USB-A 2.0 data only, to connect your recorder
USB-C power only, to connect your power source to recharge the Cloud box internal battery (this can be either a Sound Devices 8-series recorder, a power bank or a power adapter set to 5V DC / 1A)
The box has a battery that allows you to upload your files without being connected to a power source through USB-C port. The battery has been tested to last up to 4 hours of continuous uploading under standard conditions. You can check the battery status on the Viviana Cloud app on your smartphone. It is recommended to start recharging the battery as soon as the remaining charge is low and the box status LED starts blinking red.
You can set up your Viviana Cloud by using the Viviana Cloud app (iOs 14 only for now) on your smartphone. Search for "Viviana Cloud" on the Apple App Store.
HOW TO USE:
Switch on the Viviana Cloud box, plug it into your Sound Devices 8-series or MixPre recorder, put your mixer-recorder into File Transfer mode, and use the app to select which files you want to upload to your own Dropbox account! The Viviana Cloud smartphone app will help you manage and share your recordings, listen to tracks, check your files' metadata, share and even create sound reports. You can use Viviana Cloud also with Zoom F8 and external card reader or USB drive.
